Data controller
The controller of personal data is the civic organisation “Republican Platform PASSIONARIUM” (Passionarium), Ukraine. Contact for data questions: main.office@passionarium.org.ua.
What we collect
- Mobile phone number — to sign in with an SMS code.
- Your first name or how to address you.
- Building address (street, number, city) and its coordinates. We do not collect apartment numbers.
- Your requests (“can help” / “need help”), responses, feedback after interactions, confirmations of neighbours and reports.
Why
To connect neighbours who can help with people who need help nearby, to build trust through confirmed interactions, and to let coordinators respond to urgent cases and fraud.
Who sees what
- Website visitors see only the number of members per building, rounded to about 100 m. No names, phones or request texts.
- Registered members see request texts, distance, the author’s first name and trust level. Requests concerning elderly or low-mobility people or families with small children are shown at block level only.
- Your phone number is visible only to the person you both agreed to connect with.
- Neighbours in your building see your first name and trust level so they can confirm you live there.
- Passionarium coordinators can access data for moderation, help in difficult cases and fraud prevention.
We do not sell or share your data for advertising. Data is not used for political campaigning.
Storage
In a secured cloud database (Supabase, EU data centre). The SMS provider receives only your phone number and the code.
Retention
While you use the network. Closed requests are deleted or anonymised after the winter campaign. You can ask us to delete all your data at any time.
